This 1970’s contemporary home was in need of significant exterior repairs when the clients decided it was time to transform it into the style of home they’d wanted from the time they bought it.
The existing second floor was removed entirely, and a new second level was created under more traditional roof lines to house a full master suite. An existing open garage bay was enclosed, the front entry was relocated to a new expanded foyer and a sunroom was added to the rear. The exterior was changed from wood siding to brick and Hardie plank, and new composite decks on the front, side and rear complete the integration of the home to the exterior.
The overall project is being phased, with the interior of the new master suite to be finished at a later time.
