It has been some time since our last newsletter. The company celebrated its 10th anniversary in January, and we're happy to report that we're as busy as we've ever been. 2012 saw the return of major renovation and construction projects in Atlanta's in-town neighborhoods, and we are fortunate to have been a part of it. In the first quarter of this year, we have continued to see a great variety of interesting and challenging projects come our way. With the recovery of the city's home values, we are cautiously optimistic that this trend will be sustained.
We have also revamped the website, so be sure to check out our new look. As always, we're truly appreciative of your support.
CRAFTSMAN GETS A NEW SECOND STORY
Red Level Renovations recently completed the addition of a new second story on a 1917 craftsman home in Decatur. The new second level's shallow-pitched gable roof keeps the main ridge line low and allows the home to blend into its traditional neighborhood. The wide tapered columns of the original porch, and unique floating trim add traditional craftsman detail to the facade.
The addition of the second floor provides the homeowners a new master suite - the master bath features marble subway tile and a glass block window for privacy. Also upstairs are two guestrooms, a shared bathroom, laundry and play area.
The renovation also provided the opportunity to reconfigure the walls on the main level to create a new, open floor plan with an updated kitchen.

CANDLER PARK CONTEMPORARY RENOVATION
We are excited about an upcoming project in Candler Park that we'd like to share. This contemporary addition and renovation to a traditional 1927 bungalow was designed by our friends at bldgs. The project will be divided into two phases, allowing our clients to stay in their home for the duration of the work. The first phase will be the rear addition, which will contain a main level common area, a second level master suite and office, and a finished basement. Phase two will be the interior renovation of the existing space. Construction is set to begin in June.
